Our competence: Innovation and quality

As an international contract manufacturer, Plantafood Medical GmbH has been developing and producing a wide range of innovative foods and products for the health market for almost 20 years. Our products are based on natural plant substances originating from all over the world, secondary plant substances, all vitamins, minerals, trace elements and micronutrients.

Market leaders across various distribution channels and start-up entrepreneurs sell products developed and/or manufactured by us. Innovations are our challenge. Our successful quality management approach aligns with the quality management practices found in the pharmaceutical industry. This translates into, among other things, an international innovation prize, as well as frequently praised (and highly rated) products as per recognised product testing programmes in Germany.

We are also a founding member of the food supplement industry association “NEM Verband mittelständischer europäischer Hersteller und Distributoren von Nahrungsergänzungsmitteln und Gesundheitsprodukten e.V.” Manfred Scheffler, Managing Partner of Plantafood Medical GmbH, is also a member of the national journalist association “Deutschen Fachjournalistenverband”. Sven Scheffler, Operations Manager of Plantafood Medical GmbH, is a member of the Advisory Board to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK) regional office Simmern / Hunsrück Commerce and Industry (IHK) regional office in Simmern / Hunsrück.
